Be2Love (the "Service") is an online dating service available at be2love.com.
2. Acceptance and changes
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. We may change them. For an important change, we tell you in advance, by email or in the Service. If you do not accept the change, you can close your account.
3. Adults only
The Service is for people aged 18 or over, or the age of majority where they live if it is higher. Some content is meant for adults. By signing up, you confirm you are old enough. We close any account that belongs to a minor.
4. Your account
• The details in your profile (age, gender, what you are looking for, town) must be accurate.
• One account per person. Your photos must show you, or be posted with the agreement of the person shown.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens from your account.
• You can delete your account at any time by going to edit my profile.
5. Virtual profiles and how we animate the Service
Be2Love has two kinds of profiles. Member profiles belong to real people. Virtual profiles are created and run by Be2Love. Virtual profiles animate the Service and improve your experience. They make browsing livelier, let you chat at any hour and give you suggestions, even when few members are online.
You should know this:
• A virtual profile is not a real person you could meet. Its name, age, town and description are fictional. Its photos are illustrative.
• Its messages are generated automatically, using artificial intelligence tools or by our team.
• A virtual profile can like your profile, message you and trigger notifications or emails, such as "someone liked you". Such a notification can therefore come from a member or from a virtual profile.
• Do not give a virtual profile money or personal contact details: no virtual profile will meet you. Your exchanges with it are processed by our artificial intelligence provider, as the Privacy Policy explains.
A VIP subscription does not guarantee a meeting or a reply from a member. 6. Location
To show you profiles near you, we use a town. We first estimate it from your IP address. You can confirm it, correct it by searching for its name or postal code, or let your device help us find it.
The estimated town can be wrong: it only adapts your experience. You can change it at any time. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
7. VIP subscription, free trial and payment
• Free and paid. Signing up is free and gives you limited access. A VIP subscription gives access to you all features. Prices are shown including taxes on the payment page, before you commit.
• Free trial. For a defined period, nothing is charged. A card check of $0.01 / €0.01 may be made but won't be charged. At the end of the trial, your card is charged at the amount and duration chosen unless you cancel before.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews for the same duration, at the price then in force, until you cancel. We send you a reminder before each renewal.
• Cancelling. Cancel from your account: Edit my profile, in one click. You keep VIP access until the end of the paid period. We do not use a complicated process or an extra step that delays cancelling.
• Payment. Our payment provider processes it. We do not keep your card number. If a payment fails, VIP access may be suspended.
• Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you can withdraw within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, by writing to support@be2love.com. If you asked for the subscription to start right away, you pay for the service already provided until you withdraw.
• Subscription emails. Emails about your subscription (trial, confirmation, renewal, reminder, cancellation) continue even if you unsubscribe from discovery emails.
8. Rules of conduct
You agree not to:
• harass, threaten, discriminate against or defame anyone;
• post illegal, hateful or violent content, or content involving a minor;
• pretend to be someone else, or share a person's intimate content without their consent;
• ask for money, promote a scam, or advertise without our approval;
• collect data from the Service with a bot or other automatic means, or bypass its security;
• post sexually explicit content outside of permitted sections, or send it to someone who has not asked for it.
Report abuse to support@be2love.com. We may remove content, and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. In that case, a period already paid is not refunded, unless the law requires it.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free licence, limited to running the Service: to host, display and process it for as long as your account exists. You promise you have the rights needed. We do not sell your content.
10. Meeting and safety
We do not verify members' identities. Meet first in a public place, tell someone you trust, never send money, and report suspicious behaviour. We are not responsible for meetings between members.
11. Emails and notifications
We send two kinds of email. Service emails are about your account, security and subscription: they are necessary. Discovery emails, such as "someone liked you", are optional: each has an unsubscribe link. We send them at a reasonable hour for your time zone.
12. Availability
The Service is provided as it is. We may change it, suspend a feature or interrupt it for maintenance. We do not promise continuous availability.
13. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee a meeting or any result, and we are not responsible for content posted by members. Our liability for direct damage is limited to what you paid in the last 12 months, except for gross negligence, fraud or personal injury. This clause does not limit your consumer rights.
14. Intellectual property
The Service, its brand, texts and software are protected. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of use. Any copying or use without our agreement is forbidden.
15. Personal data
We handle your data as our Privacy Policy explains.
